Canoeying

Fluvial descent along the Coghinas river on canoes;
lunch in a farm house

The runs are 3:

1) THERMAL BATHS OF CASTELDORIA - Camping La Foce
Six hour daily run.

The departure takes place from the thermal source where games of vapour made by warm water can be admired on the surface of the river. The passing through the "macchia mediterranea" leads to roman rests; coots, ducks, eels, carps, and mullets , made curious by visitors, can sometimes accompany you along, playing by the canoes.

2) BRIDGE OF BADUBOI - Camping La Foce
(About 3 hours ) in the morning or in the afternoon.

This descent running down to the Coghinas river, makes us dipped into a landscape primarily formed by the "macchia mediterranea" with juniper trees.
At this point of the river it is easy to see the heron, the martin pescatore and other inhabitants coomon in the other descents.

3) PONTE VECCHIO - DIKE
5 hours daily run.

It's one circular descent to the lake of Casteldoria.
After the against tide depature we reach the old Roman bridge. The place is characterized by a passage in a kanion, a strip of water, robbed to the earth, after the construction of the plant mail down the valley. Fishes may accompany you during the navigation, the all surraunded by a "macchia mediterranea" landscape.
